2018 MPTA ROADEO

BELTH ROCKINGHAM PLACES 2RD IN MPTA ROADEO

On Saturday, April 21, 2018, Claiborne County Human Resource Agency had three drivers to attend the annual Mississippi Public Transit Association Roadeo in Philadelphia, MS.  The Roadeo is a statewide competition for public transit drivers to compete against other drivers in pre-trip inspection of vehicle, wheelchair securement and an obstacle    course of various driving events.  During the banquet on Saturday night, Mr. Belth Rockingham was announced as the 2rd place winner in the bus competition.  Mr. Rockingham received a trophy and a cash prize of $250. 

Amongst those drivers who also attended was Belth Rockingham, Charles Rayford and Michael Morris.  Also, Mary Barnes participated as a judge in the competition.  The Board of Directors and Director would like to congratulate Mr. Belth Rockingham on a job well done.
